7 instrumentals, mostly for solo guitar. Recorded January-March 2017, sat on and tweaked for a year, with the exception of Abraham, which was recorded whilst living in a hotel in November. Tales of total confusion and disintegration that I thought for a long time held no purpose for me anymore, but have instead come to represent a miasma of things, from the increasing brutality of just trying to get through the day to the last gasps of a sense of stability I'd really, really like to have. Free from language to try and access deeper, weirder sounds and feelings we, or at least I, lack the ability to express right now. This record is eerie - something that should be there is not, and the result is alien, to me anyway. This was born of transience and exists in a threshold space where nothing makes sense but something is waiting to be discovered on the other side. Sometimes, speaking's just far too difficult anyway.

This is just the first half all the same, meaning can be found in others, and I'd like to think I might get there soon. All aspects of isolation (and escape from it), will be explored in due time.
